Based on the book “Dear Zoo” by Rod Campbell find out why a Guinea Pig makes a good pet and why a Meerkat doesn’t.
Our conservation education officer will take you to see some of your favourite animals and you will soon realise that Gibbons look very cuddly but in fact have very big teeth and a Tapir poo is almost as large as an elephants!
After this bit of fun we will run an educational session on what to expect when looking after different types of pet.
