Meerkats

INTRODUCTION

Meerkats work together in groups, called mobs. A few will typically serve as lookouts, watching the skies for hawks and eagles that prey upon them.

Meerkats eat scorpions as a major part of their diet and are tolerant to the venom! Our mob of Meerkats are a lively bunch, constantly digging tunnels and foraging for the tasty treats their keepers hide around the enclosure.
