Bring your class or year group to the Lake District Wildlife Park and experience a fun and interactive day out.
The Lake District Wildlife Park Education Programme has been completely revised and updated for 2020-21 academic year, focusing on science and cross-curricular work with a strong emphasis on developing international and environmental awareness, across the range of ages and abilities. It aims to accommodate all ages and abilities from nursery to KS4.
Learning & Discovery sessions and resources have been devised by our educator to focus on the Life and Living Processes attainment target of the National Curriculum, as well as cross-curricular topics. An educational visit to the Lake District Wildlife Park will assist you in the teaching of ‘British Values’ and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (SMSC).
The start of each workshop in introduced with a fun ice breaker game…Who’s bottom? Who’s Paw? Who’s Beak? Who’s Eye?
