Smooth Coated Otters are very active animals. They spend much of their time playing, swimming, frolicking and eating! Otters spend a lot of time in both water and on land looking for food and need to constantly eat to maintain their energy levels. They are intelligent animals and always up to mischief. Annie is our female and Noor is our male. Annie is the larger of the two and is definitely in charge.
Our pair are part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme and we hope that will successfully breed.
